I cannot do
it all; I cannot even
do enough
The mere thought
keeps me up at night
No way to repay
God’s grace
or to
draw even
So I wonder often
whatever can You do
with one who is
so
indebted?
I cannot make
recompense — not only
for your grace
but also
for my debt
and my trespassing
against my brother, my sister
God knows I cannot even
be kind for one
full day.
Assuming
that You know
how to make use of
such lack: show me please.
Set my steps and
chart my path
so that
I might make
an offering to You
(even if in pennies & nickels,
flesh & spirit). Put this
debt to good
use.

Thank you, Rachel, for sharing with us every day & for the time & energy it takes. Advent blessings, Karin
Blessings to you as well, Karin!
