What goodness awaits you?
What relief is still coming,
by the grace of God?
Joy!
Joy overflowing
like fine wine to spare, like
a spring’s waters pouring from a mountain!
Rest!
Rest deeper
than the ocean’s fountains
or the vast stillness of winter’s midnight!
Vision!
Vision unhindered
like the clearest windowpane or
an eagle spying its prey from soaring heights!
Fulfilling Spirit,
Abundant Grace of God,
let me delight in what you can still do
and greet that which is now in a spirit of hope!

Can this really be?
A good land
for my heart to take up residence
a place where I am safe
in You
my soul rooted
and refreshed in
Your goodness
at peace
in Your sovereignty
This “good land” is Your
ever-present provision
I only need to make it
my habitation
Thank you
oh thank you my God
for what You have in store for me
Thank you Rachel for the hope your prayer brings….
Thank you for sharing your prayer, Juanita!
Down the hillside meanders the shining, trickling stream of hope. Sunlight highlights the green-hued, moss-covered stepping stones. Along the banks, in the tall, calm, ancient trees, leaf buds of possibility begin to burst open. The sound of sky lark’s song, too high to see, pierces the cloud of despondency. Here is a place to re-collect myself. Grounded God, lift my eyes to recognise the reality of the landscape of hope, and the features of love. Walk me into being along the precious paths less travelled.
Delightfully vivid, Hilary!
