Like crystals of frost bedazzling fallen leaves,
your beauty, O God, decorates my spirit
and I blush to show your glory.

Like flames painting light across the oak logs,
your splendor adorns my soul with joy
and I warm myself in your glow.

Like a mountain kissing the sun as it sets,
your grandeur dresses up my weariness
and I twirl to model your eternal delight.

on Baruch 5:1: “Take off the garment of your sorrow and affliction, and put on forever the beauty of the glory from God.”
