Ebenezer* mine
Love sublime
Stone of Help
My life is thine
Your presence staid
Relieves my days
And all the night
From fear I’m saved
Rock of hope
Beloved Stone
I mark my path
By thee alone
Ebenezer sweet
By grace increase
Courage to follow
And peace replete
* Ebenezer means “Stone of Help” per 1 Samuel 7:12 (NRSV), “Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Jeshanah and named it Ebenezer, for he said, ‘Thus far the LORD has helped us.'”

the easy route
Anything to hasten the end
of our pain
But You

Healer
We pray for Your soothing touch
at our broken places here and now
We wait for
Your perfect healing

Jehovah-Rophe: “I am the LORD who heals you.” (Ex 15:26) Yes!
O Great Potter,
I am the clay you created.
When I become too stiff in my ways
you add water, your spirit, to soften me.
When my shape becomes deformed, you put your hands on me and guide me to wholeness.
In the end, you will paint your glaze, your mark of love on me, and seal me with fire to become your vessel.
Love this! Thanks for sharing, Amy.
Strong midwife of my life,
Your hands guide, your voice urges me –
my spirit’s song is born.
Powerful.
