Let us do what is right, with prayer and praise:
We rejoice in your renewal, O Creator

and we celebrate the labor to which we are called.
We rejoice that we are not surrendered to death
— alleluia, amen —
and we celebrate your name on this day.
We preach the women’s witness, O Christ
— alleluia, amen —
and we testify to the grace of life.
We preach the tears through which we recognize you
— alleluia, amen —
and we testify to your glory to spite death.
We claim the resurrection power of freedom, O Spirit
— alleluia, amen —
and we heed the call to tend vineyards instead of lynching trees.
We claim the healing of your steadfast love
— alleluia, amen —
and we heed the trembling of earth to bless all creation.
Let our praise be unbounded, alleluia and amen.
