deep breath
roll your stiff neck:
right, slowly
left, slowly
right, slowly
left, slowly
deep breath
listen:
you are god’s testimony,
a sign of god’s repentance
deep breath
pause from your race-of-a-journey:
curl your toes, slowly
flex your toes, slowly
turn your face upward in delight
turn your face downward in gratitude
deep breath
listen:
the lowlands are not too close to the sea for stillness
the mountains are not too close to the thunder for quiet
deep breath
prepare yourself:
wash your head of shame
dress your shoulders with gladness
melt the regrets that weigh you down
set your heart on wonder for what is to come
deep breath: in
deep breath: out
deep breath: in
deep breath: out

Amen!
Breathe,
Beloved,
Breathe .
Thanks Rachel.
Yes, amen.
I started to bolt through this, then returned to the beginning and followed your directions. I heard cracking in my neck when I rolled it, and felt marked tension when I dropped my head to give thanks for myriad blessings. I breathed in slowly, breathed out slowly, and now feel renewed. A Sabbath rest. I forwarded it to my best friend and we both thank you!
How good that the blessing is multiplied!
