like a cloud covers the sky,
and hide my brokenness
until your love rains with healing.
Light my way, O God,
like a fire blazes in the night,
and burn my fears to dust
so each spark guides like a star.
Bring me out with joy, O God,
like a spring breaks free from water,
and wash the soot & strain
from cluttering an outpouring of life.
