Holy Silence,
Unspeaking God,
you dare me
to be still
to be silent
to be without
to be in space
and to trust that
you are the Space.
So I’m going to sit for a while, and wait, and
be in Silence and Space — hopefully with you.

This is what I came up with from your prompt this week:
In the silence of this mountaintop,
my neurons are firing quickly
trying to take in the expansive and seemingly never ending view of mighty rock you created.
I close my eyes to calm my visual sense.
At this elevation there are no bird songs to distract me.
I listen for you.
